[HISTORY] [teem] [ven -j uh ns] -noun Team Vengeance San Diego was initially founded by Shane Jones on March 16, 2000. Carlos Flores was introduced to Team Vengeance August 2001 and gradually became Shane's protégé. In the fourth quarter of 2003 Shane's leadership proved to be obscured by not taking control of Team Vengeance . This was causing a downfall within the Team and an improved leadership with an original approach was needed to re-establish Team Vengeance. Carlos had new methods; new expectations and he wouldn't settle for an ordinary team. Carlos visualized a brotherhood; he visualized a team that enters car shows, a team that celebrates member's birthdays... With the new leadership in order, recruitment was launched. Six original members still remain on Team Vengeance (Shane's leadership): Carlos, Jose, Brian, Raymond, Alfred, and Day Day. Other members were recruited by members on the Team or members no longer on the Team. On February 19, 2006 Kevin designed the homegrown badge and presented it to the Team. The homegrown badge will be distributed by Carlos and has come to officially represent acceptance into Team Vengeance. Joining Team Vengeance is not easy. Just because you have a JDM RHD CTR, it doesn't mean you will be accepted into the Team! |
